The countdown is on.

I got back from Victoria today. Been there since Friday and having a really amazing and relaxing time.

Every time I go there I relax. There's something about the city. It's the pace. It's the air. It's the company. It's the long walks. It reminds me of time slowing down in northern France.

I think I made the right decision about going to Europe this year. I've been struggling in finding a place for myself. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing with my life and I know I don't want to settle down. I know I don't want to be stuck in a dead-end job. I want life and adventure while finding a place in the world that feels like "home".

It's hard saying goodbye to R. Actually, it was really hard. Four months apart and we're already thinking about the break-up and it not working. I'm scared considering he's the first person I've let into my life since G. It's going to be tough, but we've decided to give it a try.

Now I have to get my immunization and scrub this place clean and try to pack sensibly. (Yah, right)

Monday is going to come too quickly.
