I Love Van City
This is a fabulous city! I cannot get enough of it.
We have a car for the weekend and spent the morning hours...well, right until 4 p.m. shopping for things my apartment is still missing. A wok, kettle, ironing board, cutting board etc. Just the basics. And of course groceries. The more I purchase the more I realize that all of this will have to go with me when I move out of here. Or when I move to the next place. I am finally independent and are acquiring even more stuff to my name.
The more we drive through streets, the more I find really awesome stores. Taking note of them to make sure I return and buy some really awesome outfits. I keep thinking that I need a new hair cut to go with my new city. I just need to find a really awesome salon here.
After dinner, we decided that we must see North Vancouver. Drove through Granville Island and headed downtown around 7:30 p.m. People were out, streets were packed and everyone was nicely dressed.
We headed to Grouse Mountain for the sunset. Made it to the top of the mountain when the sky was turning red. Then the purple clouds and Vancouver lit up. Saw the city for miles. It was a clear night. We've had clear skies ever since we arrived. It's been wonderful. I cannot wait to share that view with someone. I cannot wait to go to the restaurant on Grouse Mountain with someone I care about. What a romantic place. Nature, views, sunset and Vancouver lit up. It reminded me of my final days in Toronto when I saw Toronto lit up from the 51st floor of a restaurant. I got chocked up looking at Vancouver.
It hit me. I am going to live here. I do live here. I just have to switch my mindset to school. I am here to study. But, I am here to enjoy it.
Driving back through downtown made me crave the night life even more. I need to meet people. I need to find out where all the cool clubs are. I need to party!
Tomorrow...Whistler.
The vacation just doesn't seem to want to end...

I saw the pics to your apartment... VERY COOL! And I've been to Grouse mountain!! So far, Anna's Adventures are turning out pretty damn good, eh?
Too cool actually.
I need to switch my brain to think school and not vacation.
