Not Special

Someone made me feel not special today. Someone made me feel like I need to be with someone in order to be special. Someone made me feel that my friend, L, is not special.

I've been doing really well emotionally. I've been meeting people, spending time in great company and keeping myself busy that I haven't felt that my life is not complete unless I have a guy by my side. That all changed today.

Mix that with the stress of work on the website and I've had my second good cry. I felt alone today. I felt alone and not special. Not special enough for someone to like me.

What kind of a friend does that?
