Did you know that it rains in Vancouver?

When it rains, it pours.

I was warned about November - the month of the eternal rain, wind and lack of sunshine. Another rainfall warning - something close to 100mm of rain. Floods - that's all you hear about in the news.

The one day of the week when I don't have classes, I find myself in school. Trying to make it a productive day. Trying is the key word. And what do I hear in the news this morning: IF you don't have to go outside, don't - stay indoors. Was tempted to turn around and go back to bed.

I thought I would really hate the rain, but it's not so bad. People here know how to drive in the rain. I think it's snow that they can't handle. Public transit actually works when it rains, meaning busses are on time and I find myself laughing at the miserable weather. I just can't handle getting splashed by cars - yuck.

Rain boots - that's what I need. Pink with yellow duckies! Already have the yellow umbrella - the rain boots would go perfectly well with it! If you find them, let me know.
