Entry about Friday. So much happened on that day and a number of you got the full version. Below are the coles notes:

I have really amazing friends. On Thursday night J promised to get me through Friday. He didn't lie. He didn't disappoint me. He came through for me. It felt like he took a shovel and scrapped me off the ground and made sure I didn't break down.

We had a same day news assignment. Went to an AIDS conference, back to school, wrote the piece, finished another assignment and were out of the school at 3:30. Like he promised.

Friday was also the journalism school Christmas party. It was a great night and I was deeply moved when my fellow peers bought me a small gift to show their appreciation for the work I've done.

There was food, singing, drinking, a magic show, an after party and a red wine migraine the next day.
