Turkish Coffee

I love Turkish coffee. It's rich. Dark. Strong and I found out that once you are done, you can have your fortune told from the left over coffee.

I never knew that. I knew you can from tea leaves, but never coffee.

A co-worker, Ipec, read my fortune and at first I thought it was just silly. But, once she told me that I've been encountering a lot of problems recently, but they are now over and that I'm taking the right steps, I started to believe.

She told me that I will travel to at least five more places and all these travels will be smooth. I thought she meant that I did a lot of traveling and she corrected me that this is about your future, not the past.

I really thought my travels will end with Turkey. I have no plans of traveling anytime soon, and yet I am going too.

Then there is some sort of good news and good fortune coming my way in a little while - this won't happen right away.

But, she also told me there is someone in my life whom I love very much and he loves me. At first, I didn't see the two figures who were facing each other and hugging, but they truly were there. She told me not to give up on this relationship and love because it is going to last.

There was also a seahorse and that symbols means commitment or engagement. I got excited that one of my friends is going to get engaged and again, I was corrected that this is my cup and my fortune.

Unfortunately, I have no idea who this person is.

Then, when she poured the rest of the coffee from the saucer into the cup, the two figures that I barely saw in the cup formed with great detail. The detail scared me.

To make my wish come true, I had to wash my own cup.

I want to do this again! I am bringing back Turkish coffee and authentic Turkish coffee cups, which I absolutely love because of their intricate designs.

I am having a Turkish coffee party when I return and I'll tell anyone's future!
