In Toronto
I have been in Toronto for almost two weeks now.
I left July 30th early in the morning. Said goodbye to my roommate, looked up at the building one last time and headed to catch the Havas bus to take me to the airport.
It was nice returning home. I haven't been home in eight months and it finally felt like I was coming home. I missed having my parents around me and my brother no longer lives at home, but he came the following weekend to visit.
It was a family reunion and it was nice having him around. We get along.
Last time I was in Toronto I was counting down the days to my return to Vancouver and now it is the opposite. I want to stay here longer. I really missed my friends and I am so glad to have them so close. We talk all the time. I missed the conversations.
Last night we had a TP.com reunion. The old gang was there: Kathy, Tracy, Frank and Jason. And even few other TP people! It was great going around the table and catching up on what has been happening the last year. So much has happened in a year. I am still trying to process every bit. Tracy brought pictures of Anna and even though I see them all the time on her blog, I still couldn't stop staring at how big she has gotten. I keep remembering the little girl who was the size of my arm and now she knows how to say her name.
Time flies and who knows when we'll sit around a table again sharing our adventures and talking about the roads we have chosen. The future is uncertain, but we all push forward and wish each other the best of luck.
