London is calling
It's done.
I'm booked on a flight to London on January 10th, returning January 19th to do a million interviews, research and get the feel of the Polish community in London for my thesis.
Going with Zoom airlines. I've never taken them, but the cheapest flight I could get. That's what mattered with this flight. I don't even know how I'm affording this. I really don't. But, if I don't invest in my future now, later might be too late.
I am getting huge support from both of my thesis advisors. They have my whole career planned out for me. They say this will make my career. This will put my name out there.
After all, I'm doing research in an area that doesn't have any. There's articles here and there, but there isn't concrete research being done.
It's all new and exciting and I cannot believe how supportive everyone is of what I'm trying to accomplish.
Their excitement feeds mine own.
