Goodbye Friend
It's over. Tara just left my place.
It has been a very busy week playing tour guide, but it was fun. It was nice having someone else in the apartment for the time being, but now it is back to enjoying the peace and quiet.
And oh yah, need to catch up on all my school week.
The weather was really good too. She managed to come at a good time. Only the last two days have been rainy. Yesterday was her 25th birthday and we had a great meal followed by cake and a candle at Death by Chocolate shop. Such delicious chocolate cakes.
Now I got back my normal life. No more making decisions for her. She really put me on the spot. Tough thing to do when I can't make my own decisions.
But, we got to enjoy a Vancouver film festival movie: 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days. Then we enjoyed a Vancouver local rock music part of Rattleshake festival. Great music, great bands, great dancing.
Really did a lot of Vancouver things. And I got a chance to head downtown (something I haven't really done since I've been back or Granville Island).
Now I get to watch whatever I want on TV. Go to bed whenever I feel like it. Get back to things I need to take care of. Like SSHRC stuff and catch up on all those readings.
Back to thesis writing too!
And life goes on...
