Luv Luv Luv
Relationships are quite interesting and hard to figure out.
When do you ever know you have made the right decision to be with someone? Well, you never do. You fall for someone, you feel the spark and you know you want them to be part of your life. You let them in and then you jump in and risk everything.
Relationships have been falling apart around me.
It makes you think twice before you enter your own. What if it doesn't work out? Again, you never know. You have to risk it all. It's a game of Poker when you go all in and hope you get the right card in the end.
My best friend finally decided that his relationship was really stuck in one place. He hasn't grown at all during the whole time he was with someone and I've supported him through his decision of starting all over again. When two people are stuck and go through the motions of the relationship, then you know it's over.
Fighting also doesn't help. Arguing makes you think twice why you are still fighting and enduring the pain. Are we masochistic when we endure it?
And then someone walks in your life and tells you he loves you and always has.
Relationships falling apart and someone wants a relationship.
Kind of like the circle of life. One life ends and another one begins.
I've been so busy lately that I haven't had the time to think of loneliness or being alone and in those moments is when luv surprises you.
I'm really focusing on my thesis right now. Psyched about all the reading. Constantly looking up articles on immigration. Talking to many Polish people and their experiences and just getting more excited about going to London in December and seeing it all for myself.
I'm also doing a lot of writing for the Turkish Daily News. Still. More clippings for my portfolio. It just keeps growing.
I have also mentally moved to Europe already. I've been looking for work in Poland for a bit now and had many interviews and it is all going very positively, but what if I give all that up for luv. Not in my plans. It's just how life works. Plans change. Nothing is ever carved in stone. Today you may want to do things one way and tomorrow something happens and changes it all.
Maybe spending a year in Toronto at a magazine isn't such a bad idea if I cannot get my ideal job in Europe. And during the year look for that dream job. Again, not a problem.
I'm becoming more open to possibilities.
A dear friend pointed out that I always have to have things my way and I'm not open to changes and something not going my way.
I think I see that now and the possibility of a luv interrupting my plans isn't a problem anymore. It is just part of life. That's how my stars are lined up.
The Turkish coffee reading is coming true. It said I would enter a commitment and I did.
Now I am just waiting for the good news.
Unless, that already happened somewhere along the way and I was too blind to see it as good news. Nah, not possible.
Good news, you are next. Waiting patiently.

Relationships are about trust and friendship, that's all. If what you say is true, do you think you can't know who your real friends are either? There's got to be some people you know you can trust. You can only be in a serious relationship with those kinds of people. On top of that, you have to have things in common and respect each other. You can't have a serious relationship with someone who you think is stupid or don't have anything to do with except sexually hehe. So it's not about stupid dating, it's about making a really good friend... If you mix up the order and screw right away you get confused and think there are things there that were never there. That's my summary!
You mean that's your rant!
I believe you need to be friends before you can be lovers and this whole dating thing is just something we developed as a way to avoid using the word commitment.
That's why I don't date and when someone says, "Oh, you are going out on a date" I think to myself, no way. I wouldn't even know if I was on a date if someone spelled it out to me.
It is all about meeting your friend, getting to know your friend, because friendship is the basis of a good relationship.
