Passionately Writing

I enrolled in an undergrad European Union class. And it just so happened that the professor teaching it is also teaching numerous classes at the Institute for European Studies. I was going to take two of his grad classes.

I got talking to him about my thesis idea and right away he was interested. I need to have one journalism adviser and one from my specialization. He was excited that I'm interested in migration in reference to European borders opening up. Especially with the huge influx of Polish immigrants in England and Ireland.

I did a similar article in Turkey comparing Turkey and Poland and when I talked with my interviewee for an hour about families moving around Europe just because a family member lives somewhere else and they will call it home. And they will have the benefits of a better life.

Is Europe going multicultural now?

This is new research. Something no one has any answers on and it will be tough to get literature to read, but I will have to travel to England in December to conduct interviews. Oh poor me. I have to fly again. I have to travel again.

Other than that, I am spending lots of time in a local coffee shop with my laptop writing articles.

I cannot do work at home. I find that I get way too distracted.

It's the power of having access to your own remote control. Damn you TV.
