Sick

Friday was a very crazy day for me. Thank goodness class was canceled. But right after that had to meet with thesis advisers. Still not happy with my thesis question. My primary from the school laughs at me for choosing my secondary because he is strict, demanding, on top of things and he's making me do so much extra work as if this was an academic thesis.

But, you know, I love finding out all this information.

Then I had to run to a club downtown to do an interview with this interesting woman who is a promoter of hard music, club owner and she's running again for office in the 2008 Vancouver municipal elections. Interesting.

We talked right until the concert began and I ended up sticking around to take photos of Artep for the article and Anatolian Wisdom - again, article.

They were so amazing. An incredible live performance. And afterwards, we all hung out and I think I may have met some new friends. Did I mention the vocalist is incredibly attractive?

Oh, and I cut my knee open on some glass. Lots of blood. But, instead of going to the hospital right away, I went to a meeting with my presentation partners. In pain.

Then I went to the UBC hospital. It was too late for stitches. Needed four of them. So instead, I got tape holding the wound together.

Sunday. I wake up with no voice. For a week I've been coughing. Just on and off. Nothing serious. But finally it turned into something serious.

It is Monday and it is day 2 of no voice and I am going to class right now to do a presentation in front of a lecture hall. (with no voice). Imagine how that's gonna go.
