Polish Goodies

My mom is coming to visit me next week...exactly this time next week and she'll be staying with me until Friday.

I'm glad she is coming. I could use the support and her help in packing things up and making decisions.

She's promised to make me tons of perogies while I'm away at school. She's bringing me a cake and she's going to bake another one while she is here. Yay!

Unfortunately, my apartment doesn't have a floor at the moment. Unless, you call thesis papers and transcripts and readings carpeting, then yes, beneath all that, a floor does exist.

Vancouver has been experiencing amazing weather. It's been sunny, warm - true Spring-like conditions and no rain.

I think Vancouver knew not to get on my nerves this week because of my extensive work on the thesis. It's been so much work, but when it will all get done, it will be very rewarding.

I'm looking forward to her visit. We'll get to talk. Drink lots of coffee, go out for dinners and I know she'll pay for groceries.
