Family

Sunday was brutal.

I agreed to go to see my family. The day was warm (finally), the dinner really amazing, the company nice, but I was drained at the end of the day.

A visit here, a tea there, a piece of cake here and the same old questions and answers. That can be quite tiring.

I didn't get to see my godmother - I really wanted too. She was away somewhere and I don't think I will have the energy to go back there and do the tea and talking all over again.

My other uncle wants me to go and visit him, but I don't have the energy to do anything like that.

I'm still struggling to get my work done. No one is returning my emails. I am not getting the response that I should be getting. This is quite discouraging especially since I'm going to Turkey in a couple of weeks.

Right now, I feel like saying: Forget working in Turkey. Travel. Travel. Travel.
